There are a number of steps to be taken if we want to achieve success and make a positive change in our situation. Some of these steps are about believing in your ability, actually creating a brand new belief system, attracting opportunities and taking action.
But right now I will be talking about how to get this going. The first step is to get focused.

What is it that you want?

Often folks struggle to answer that question. Or they reply the way majority replies: I want to be happy, plenty of money, a wonderful family, good friends etc. And I really understand people say this cause I used to give the same answer.
Now I have two things to say about this. The first is that, again, this really makes sense. But it is not specific. You have to be specific in what you want. You got to set specific goals.
The second comment I want to make is that you can’t change everything overnight. So what is most important this minute?

Let me explain this a bit better. You have been asked the question of what it is that you want and replied like most folks would. My next question would be what is most important? What do you want to start with? Let us say you decided the most important is you want to be happy. Good, let us focus on that. But just being happy is not specific. What would make you happy? You think about it and decide that since you have been single for a while, having a boyfriend/girlfriend would make you happy. Great! You decided what is most important to you now and were able to be precise about it. Now it is clear what you need to focus on.
And now? Do I just wait for it to happen? No, things do not just happen. You need to put together a plan to achieve this.

Write down your goals

A huge step towards reaching your goals is writing them down. 80% of the people who write down their goals achieve them. And it is only about 5% of all people who actually write down their goals. So you have a much greater chance to succeed if you write down what you want to achieve.
Actually, do not lay down the pen just yet. Because to really get focused you need to decide on a plan.
Let us say your goal is to have some more money. You wrote it down but now you need to find out how to actually get that money. Start thinking about what you can do to get more money and write down all your ideas.
Once you decide on a plan stick to it. Develop a laser-targeted focus on that which you wish to achieve and think of it in a positive way. Believe that what you need is already on its way. You just need to receive it.

A word of caution: Even though you have to be specific about your goal, be open to how it will come your way and even when. Avoid things like “I want to be rich tomorrow and the money should come from my next business-deal”. It could very well happen, do not get me wrong. But what happens is, if the money does not come within that time you will be disappointed. This limits your belief and will in the end move you away from your goal.
I encourage folks to dream big, but be realistic. Do not expect Paramount to call you next week to direct their next movie because you have great videos on Youtube. You probably will not get a Grammy because you sing great in the shower. If directing in Hollywood or winning a Grammy is one of your goals, I encourage you to go for it.
But either way, set a plan, work the plan and plan to work and you will achieve that which you want.

There is much more to say about being successful but this sets you on your way.
Be strong in your belief, be nothing but positive and focus on what it is that you want.

Will young marketer’s make it online?

Will young marketer’s make it online? Well in this day and age it is difficult
enough for experienced marketer’s to keep things on track. The main problem
seems to be that there are getting to be more latest, greatest launches happening
every single day than there are new people coming online.

I know that is a bit of an exageration but the reason I ask, will young marketer’s
make it online is because I believe that fundementally something does have to
change. More “opportunities” leads to more confusion, more program hopping and
more general failure.

I was on One Marketer’s list who was promoting something different every single
Week, sometimes more. I asked Him One day when I got the chance “Do You ever stick
with any of these program’s that You advertize?” – His response was “That’s how I
make my money” I was appauled and have never had an interest in being on His
subscription list since that day onwards.

I suppose that I could say that it has taken me since October 2006 when I started
working full-time from home and on the internet, to learn the trade and benefit from
the experience of my own personal mistakes. I just think that I would not wish
that experience on anybody, let alone young inexperienced marketer’s.

Luckily for me, I did eventually find my feet, finding a path where there were no
auto-ships and with a Company that had a proven track record supplying everything
needed in exchange for just a One off admission fee. Few and far between nowadays,
unfortunately yet another legacy that we are passing onto the younger generation.

Will young marketer’s make it online? I believe it is in our hands my friends.
Let us just hope that it is not to late to make those required changes or let us
also hope eternally that our siblings are just that little bit smarter than we
ever were!
